Here at Photo Kami, we transform treasured photographs into stunning and unique works of art. We create from each submitted photograph a multi-layered monochromatic portrait or picture, meticulously cutting out each layer and individual detail by hand. Then, a complimenting background fabric or paper will be hand-selected to achieve full dramatic effect. Every single portrait/picture created using this method is unique and beautiful, and will be cherished for generations to come. We also offer the option of creating a custom pattern so that you can create your own masterpiece. These portraits/pictures are great for scrap-booking or can be framed and displayed. This innovative technique was originally created by Julianne Kravetz to be done in fabric, but has been modified to use paper instead.
