LOVE the mini marshmallows. That's hilarious. Much safer than hanging sticks over a raging campfire too. :)

I seriously felt so much better about how much trouble Kade was giving me after reading the "How to Raise Good Children", especially Morality stage 0, which is where Kade is... Can you send me your phone-number, and maybe we can trade ideas? :) I'm so glad we're back in touch!

I read the "How to talk..." book and I loved it. I need to reread it. And I'm somewhat relieved to hear I'm not the only one having issues with my 4 year old. Some days I'm so frustrated I could (and do!) cry. I know that most of his behavior is just because he's 4, but I can't help but feel like his behavior is a reflection on my bad parenting... so I end up feeling like a failure.

I'll have to check out that other book too. I have a feeling the hardest parts of parenting are yet to come....

And bedtime routines are a must... though we still struggle with ours. You'd think the kids would be winding down for the day, but they are still bouncing off walls. We have family prayer, and if the kids are reverent (because sometimes they most definitely are not!) then they get to pick a book to read. Sometimes they pick a songbook, but I'm not much of a singer. :P

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom Aaron. I just found out. Your Mom is a wonderful person. The few times that I had the honor to talk with her you could feel her wonderful spirit. The has such a great love for you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please extend our condolences to your Father. I only spoke with him one or two times. We are always here for You and Amaree.
Hugs from our family to yours.
Julie, Michael, Verna and Dylan.
